Kenya Medical Training College - Garissa is a mixed boarding school offering Diploma and Certificates and is affiliated to/with the Central Government KMTC Garissa campus was established in 1980 as a training facility for certificate courses in nursing and is the only medical training college in the Kenya s Northern region.

KMTC Garissa campus is situated off Sankuri Road within Garissa Municipal Council and the college offers these courses:

• Certificate in Nursing (pre-service)
• Upgrading Diploma in Nursing (DL)
• In-Service Diploma in Nursing

KMTC Garissa campus has 2 classrooms, computer lab, skillslab, library, 2 hostels, one kitchen, 1 dining hall and an administrative office. This college participates in the following sports:
